Enki is the Ancient Sumerian God of Water. Sumeria - "Land of the Lords of Brightness", was the earliest known civilization beginning around 6000 BC and lasting for 3000 years. The Sumerians were credited with innovations such as intensive year round agriculture, irrigation, arithmetic and writing.
